New Mercedes-Benz GLE Features
The Mercedes-Benz GLE is one of the most versatile family vehicles on the market. U.S. News says it offers an “elegant interior, strong engine performance, and lots of standard features.” Compared to competitors like the BMW X5, the GLE is more spacious and better equipped. Offered in a variety of trims, including the GLE 350 and AMG® GLE 43, the GLE excels in performance and capability, interior luxury, and technologies. Here’s just a handful of standard features for the GLE:
- Power driver’s seat with memory
- 8-inch display with a central controller
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- MB-Tex® upholstery
- Cargo capacity of 80.3 cubic feet (60.7 cubic feet in the GLE Coupe)
Mercedes-Benz GLE vs. GLC: How Do They Compare?
Compared to the Mercedes-Benz GLC, the new GLE costs more and isn’t quite as fuel-efficient, but on the flip side, the GLE is stronger and more spacious. With the proper equipment, the GLE can tow between 6,600 and 7,200 pounds; the GLC tows up to 3,500 pounds. For Milpitas and Sunol drivers in need of ample cargo room, the GLE is a better choice. Folding the rear seats down reveals up to 80.3 cubic feet in the GLE vs. 56.5 cubic feet in the GLC.
