2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Changes
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is expected to launch this summer, with a few exciting changes in store, including new engine, a larger selection of convenience and comfort amenities, and more! While the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class MSRP is still being determined, many of its new specs and features have been revealed. Here, the team at Fletcher Jones Motorcars of Fremont lets Milpitas and Union City drivers in on some of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class changes.
Engine & Transmission
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class 4.0L V8 biturbo engine generates 416 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. The new 9G-TRONIC® 9-speed automatic transmission will give your new Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV more responsive handling compared to the 2018 model’s 7-speed automatic transmission.
The 2019 G Wagon provides five available DYNAMIC SELECT® driving modes, including Comfort, Sport, Eco, and Individual, which were included on previous models. The newly-added G-Mode allows drivers to experience smooth maneuvering and handling on even the most rugged of Bay Area roads.
Comfort & Convenience Features
The new 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV also boasts added available comfort and convenience features, including:
- 12.3-inch high-resolution display with a single-bonded glass panel
- 64-shade ambient lighting
- New LED headlights
