Mercedes-Benz Fully Hybrid Vehicles

Herbert Kohler, head of Daimler's E-Drive and Future Mobility unite, said Daimler is progressing quickly with their hybrid technologies and is planning to offer hybrid versions of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, and S-Class cars in the U.S. and Europe in the next three years. This is a step in their effort to meet the tightening global fuel economy standards.

"We have a leading position in the premium segment concerning alternative propulsion systems and we will defend it," Kohler said following a press event.

Venessa Hudgens, the young Hollywood actress, has been seen driving a Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The High School Musical star, who dated her co-star Zac Efron, was spotted driving an E350, according to AutoEvolution.com. The website said the "elegant" car is a good fit for the 22-year-old's "diva' image.

Renault will make available its new 1.6 liter diesel power plant to Mercedes-Benz for the A and B-Class vehicled starting next year. That new 1.6 liter diesel comes with an output of 128 bhp.

Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG Coming to America

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG will be unveiled at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. Previous reports have said, the redesigned model will feature an "aggressive front fascia, LED daytime running lights, a four-tailpipe exhaust system, and AMG wheels."
