Mercedes-Benz Brand Enhanced by New CLS-Class as Design Icon

The new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class has been the latest brand enhancing design to incorporate the company's innovative nature with the materials used in the car.

An enticing mixture of satin and high-gloss finishes are used on the car's metal surfaces.

The new CLS-Class features matte galvanized air vents, framing the high-gloss-trimmed analogue clock forming an appealing piece for framework.

"Handcrafted perfection is reflected in details such as the stitched seat covers or the so-called sewn covering for the dashboard," the manufacturer explained.

The 1.6 millimeter thick semi-aniline PASSION leather holds the highest standards in look and feel to the car.

"Protected by only a light pigmentation, the natural pore structure remains intact and the leather has an especially warm and soft feel to it," Mercedes-Benz said.

The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class has been sold to about 170,000 people worldwide since October of 2004.

This new CLS-Class model is to make its premiere at the the Paris Motor show toward the end of this year.
